How do I start the rental of a Pikyrent car?

Open the map in the Pikyrent app, locate the nearest available vehicle, and when you’re within 1 meter, press the “Start Rental” button.
If you are already next to a Pikyrent car, you can scan the QR code directly.

If the app shows “vehicle not available for rental,” it might be due to low battery, maintenance, or an existing reservation by another user.
Find another vehicle and repeat the procedure.

If the vehicle is available and the rental has started, follow these steps:

• close all doors
• with the brake pedal pressed, set the gear knob to N
• with the brake pedal still pressed, turn the ignition switch to start the engine
• a blinking green OK will appear on the display. Wait until it becomes steady
• with the brake still pressed, switch the gear knob to D
• start driving
• at the end of your ride, after parking, set the gear to N
• close the windows using the appropriate buttons (this cannot be done when the car is off)
• exit the vehicle, close the doors, and end the rental in the app
