Pikyrent – Trenitalia and FSE Promotion: How Does It Work?
Pikyrent has launched an exclusive promotion in collaboration with Trenitalia and Ferrovie del Sud Est (FSE).
If you reach a city served by Pikyrent using a Trenitalia or FSE regional train ticket, you can get a 30% discount on a Pikyrent ride (scooter, microcar, or car).
How to activate the promotion:
- Register on the Pikyrent app and complete all required steps (if you haven’t already).
- Go to the “Offers and Discounts” section of the app.
- Click on the “Voucher” tab and enter your Trenitalia or FSE ticket code.
The 30% discount applies to all parts of the trip: unlock, rental, reservation, and stopover.
Each ticket is valid for one rental, on any Pikyrent vehicle.
To use the promotion, you must have at least €7 in your wallet.
The discount cannot be combined with other promotions or ongoing offers.
Discounted Rates for Students and University Staff
Pikyrent has activated agreements with various universities and polytechnic schools.
If you’re a student or employee of a participating institution, you can use the service at discounted rates.
How to activate the agreement:
- Register on the Pikyrent app using your university email address (student or staff).
- Go to the “Offers and Discounts” section of the app.
- Select “Partnerships,” enter the code provided by your university, and upload an ID document if required.
The discount applies to all components: unlock, rental, reservation, and stopover.

Cashback at Pikyrent Hubs: Save on Unlock Fees!
With Pikyrent, you can cancel out the unlock fee simply by ending your rental at one of our dedicated hubs.

How can I recognize a Piky Microcar ZD?
- When you’re out and about and see a Pikyrent microcar, you can recognize the ZD model by its black base color, which distinguishes it from the other vehicles in the fleet.
- Inside the Pikyrent app, once you select the vehicle on the map, a preview of the model will appear so you can confirm that it is indeed a Piky ZD.
How do you drive a Piky Microcar ZD model?
The Piky Car ZD model operates like an automatic car and also does not require a key.
Once the rental starts via the app, the lights and dashboard will activate automatically, and the central lock will unlock. You can then open the door and get in.
The gear modes are selected using buttons located in the center console.
To select a gear:
- Press the brake pedal
- Press the desired button:

- D = drive
- R = reverse
- N = neutral
To switch from D to R or vice versa, you must first pass through neutral (N) — for safety, direct shifting is not allowed.
Once the gear is selected, press the accelerator to start driving.
The vehicle is equipped with turn signals, hazard lights, and an audible horn.
⚠️ Important: Like all electric vehicles, the Piky Car ZD has very responsive acceleration from a stop. Please handle the throttle carefully, especially at the beginning.
I have leftover credit in my wallet. Can I transfer it to my card?
No. Wallet credit cannot be refunded to the credit or prepaid card provided by the user, as stated in the Terms & Conditions and Service Regulations agreed upon at registration.
The remaining amount will stay available in your wallet for future use — until you fully close your account.

Registrarsi a Pikyrent è semplice e veloce.
Ecco i passaggi per iniziare a usare i nostri veicoli elettrici in sharing:
- Scarica l’app Pikyrent e compila il form di registrazione con i tuoi dati anagrafici, e-mail, numero di cellulare e una password di accesso.
- Dopo aver inserito i tuoi contatti, dovremmo certificare il tuo numero di cellulare e la tua mail. Per certificare il numero di cellulare riceverai un SMS con un codice di verifica da inserire nell’app per confermare la registrazione.
Se non ricevi il codice, puoi tornare al modulo e cliccare su “Invia di nuovo SMS”. - Per certificare il tuo indirizzo mail, riceverai una mail con un codice di verifica che dovrai inserire sull’app per confermare l’indirizzo mail, se non ricevi la mail con il codice di verifica controlla nello Spam.
- Per completare l’iscrizione e iniziare subito a noleggiare, ti verrà quindi chiesto di:
- Inserire i dati della patente di guida (numero, ente rilasciante, data di scadenza);
- Caricare una foto fronte e retro della patente;
- Caricare un selfie con la patente in mano per la verifica dell’identità;
- Aggiungere un metodo di pagamento valido.
