How much space does a Piky Cargo offer?

The Piky Cargo offers 260 liters of cargo space, located to the right of the driver, where the passenger seat would usually be. This area has been replaced by a modular and protected container divided into 7 practical compartments for better load organization.

The bottom shelf of the container can be adjusted to two positions:

  • It can be raised and locked vertically
  • Or lowered horizontally to align with the vehicle floor

When lowered, the load length extends to over 1.20 meters, ideal for carrying longer or bulkier items.

Can’t end the rental? Possible reasons

If you’re unable to complete the rental, check for the following:

  • You’re outside the operational area
    You may be trying to end the rental outside the service coverage area. Check the app map to ensure you’re within the Operational Zone. If not, move to an authorized area.
  • Weak GPS signal
    You might be in an area with poor GPS reception. Try moving a few meters and retry the operation.
  • No internet connection or unstable signal
    If either the vehicle or your phone lacks a stable internet connection, the system may not be able to complete the rental. Move to a better coverage area and try again.
    Note: in underground areas like garages, GPS or internet might be unavailable. Move outside to end the rental correctly.
  • Missing rental-end photos
    Ending the rental requires uploading the mandatory photos via the app. Make sure you’ve followed the full procedure.
  • Specific vehicle requirements:
    • If using a Piky Car or Microcar:
      • engage the handbrake
      • close both doors
      • close all windows
    • If using a Piky Scooter:
      • if helmets were used, secure them with the safety cables in the top case (for CUX and NEXT models)
      • properly close the top case
      • place the scooter on its kickstand

How do I start the rental of a Pikyrent scooter?

  1. Open the Pikyrent app and check the map to locate the nearest scooter.
  2. Once you reach it and are within one meter, tap “Start Rental“.
  3. Alternatively, scan the QR code on the scooter to begin your rental.

If the app says “vehicle not available for rental,” it could be for one of the following reasons:

  • the battery is low
  • it is undergoing maintenance
  • it has already been reserved by another user

If so, select another available scooter on the map and repeat the procedure.
If the vehicle is available:

  • tap “Open Top Case” to access the helmet
  • detach the helmet from the security cable (for CUX or Next models)
  • properly close the top case
  • get on the scooter and start your ride

  1. Open the Pikyrent app and check the map for available vehicles.
  2. Reach the nearest microcar and, once within one meter of the vehicle, press “Start Rental”.
  3. Alternatively, if you’re already next to the vehicle, scan the QR code on the windshield to begin your rental.

If the app shows the vehicle is not available, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  • low battery
  • the vehicle is under maintenance
  • it’s already reserved by another user

In this case, choose another vehicle from the map and repeat the process.
If the vehicle is available, the door will unlock automatically and the dashboard will turn on.
At this point, you can get in and begin your ride.

How do you drive a Piky Scooter?

Driving a Piky Scooter is easy: it works like a standard scooter, but with no key.

Once the rental starts via the app:

  1. Tap “Open top case” to unlock and retrieve one or both helmets.
  2. Close the top case firmly.
  3. The dashboard and lights will turn on automatically.
  4. You’re now ready to ride!

 

CUX Super Soco Model

To start riding:
• Make sure the green READY light is displayed on the dashboard.
• If not, make sure the kickstand is up and the scooter is upright.
• If READY still doesn’t appear, press the ⚡ button and pull both brake levers simultaneously.
• Once READY appears, rotate the throttle to ride.

There is only one driving mode — no gears to select.

 

Next Model

To start riding:
• Press the P button near the handlebar.
• Make sure the kickstand is up and the scooter is upright.
• Then, rotate the throttle to begin moving.

Also in this model, driving mode is automatic and unique.

 

Govecs Model

To start riding:

  1. Move the red switch (on the right side of the handlebar) first to the left, then to the right.
    ⚠️ If the switch is already to the right at the start, the scooter will not start — you must first move it left to correctly activate the system.
  2. Ensure the kickstand is up and the scooter is stable and upright.
  3. The scooter has an automatic, single-speed mode: just gently rotate the throttle to go.

 

All Piky Scooters are equipped with turn signals, hazard lights, and an audible horn.

⚠️ Important: As with all electric vehicles, Piky Scooters have very quick acceleration from a stop.
Use the throttle gently, especially during initial movement.

⚠️ Never twist the throttle before the rental is active and the scooter is fully powered on.
