What should I do if I’m involved in an accident?

If you’re involved in an accident during a rental, it’s important to act quickly. Here’s what to do:

Immediately contact Pikyrent Customer Service and describe:

  • how the accident occurred,
  • the visible damage to the vehicle,
  • the exact location of the vehicle.

Stay at the scene of the accident until a Pikyrent operator arrives, unless you require urgent medical assistance. In that case, call emergency services right away.

If the accident involves unidentified vehicles, you will still be covered by insurance, but a deductible will apply.

Remember to:

  • report the incident to the relevant authorities,
  • fill out the CID accident report form, if possible,
  • send all accident documentation by email to: support@pikyrent.com
  • send the original paper copy by post to the administrative headquarters:
